Putting the human face into personal insurance

Kudos Insurance Brokers is taking its personal insurance services into the community with the launch of a new office.
John Goss, 47, who leads the team of four at the Old Gatehouse, New North Road, says it’s important to put the local, human element back into insurance.
He says: “Comparison sites focus on cost instead of the most appropriate cover, which can lead consumers to policies that aren’t right for them. People guess at the sort of cover they need without realising the consequence.
“Whether you are trying to insure a house or a car, an experienced broker will guide you through the process, tailoring the cover to your individual situation.
“As a small independent firm we have access to a wide insurance market and we are able to focus on clients by bringing the knowledge that comes from years of experience. At Kudos we plan to invest in our technology and business to enable us to continue to offer the highest level of personal insurance to customers.
“Above all we want them to have a personal relationship with us, to phone us or to come in and discuss their needs over a coffee. That way we can find them the best possible cover at a competitive price – and no gimmicks.”
